for as long as i’ve had ears to hear
i’ve been told, to look to no one
to save me. if i needed saving the
only place i could look was the sky.
and tonight i looked up and realized
what a beautiful sky it is and how
tiny all my problems are under heaven.
and maybe by the morning when that
sky has changed, the part of me still
clinging to things lost long ago will be
changed as well. <3
